Neighborhoods with Parking Restrictions

View the list of neighborhoods currently under on-street parking enforcement in Tamarac.

On-street parking is prohibited in the following neighborhoods between midnight and 6:00 AM, seven days a week. Emergency vehicles are exempt. Residents may apply for temporary parking decals.

What This Means for Residents

  • No overnight parking on streets between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM
  • Temporary decals available for residents who need limited on-street parking (up to 14 days per month)
  • Citations issued for vehicles parked without valid decals during restricted hours
  • Daytime parking allowed - restrictions only apply overnight

Why These Restrictions?

These neighborhoods have parking restrictions to:

  • Ensure emergency vehicle access at all times
  • Reduce traffic congestion on residential streets
  • Preserve the aesthetic quality of neighborhoods
  • Maintain public safety and visibility

If a neighborhood is not on the enforcement list, overnight on-street parking is generally permitted, subject to all other applicable parking restrictions in the City Code.
